Blake is sentenced...

The verdict’s in and after spending a little over eight months behind bars for charges of GBH and perverting the course of justice, Amy Winehouse’s husband Blake Fielder-Civil has been given a community sentence…… Of 27 months in prison!! UPDATE: After initially reporting that he was going to be released today, then changing it to 27 months, Sky News has now confirmed he has been sentenced to 27 months and will therefore be released in about 4 and a half. It's official, Blake will be out by Christmas!! Is just over a year really enough for the crime he committed???? (21/07/08)

Doesn’t it make you feel a little queasy when celebrities are just so likeable that when other people talk about them they say things like; “oh, they’re such a super nice person” etc etc. It’s gross right??!! That’s why we almost regurgitated our own intestinal tract when we heard… That people just love Katie Holmes. That’s right, she hasn’t just got that inane smile on her face the entire time because she’s been brainwashed enlightened by scientology. It’s because she’s genuinely nice. Apparently Katie has already completely won over her new co-stars on her upcoming U.S. TV show Eli Stone. Fellow cast member Natasha Henstridge, who plays Taylor Wethersby, recently commented: "She was super gracious and lovely. And statuesque and gorgeous." Henstridge also revealed how Katie impressed the cast by helping them move the set's furniture. "I was literally moving a table with (executive producer) Greg Berlanti at the table read, and Katie came in and said, 'Do you guys need any help?'"

We’re talking about Miley in a professional capacity of course. For example, Coldplay’s Chris Martin was interested in supporting Miley on one of her future tour dates?? Well, guess which Hollywood actress is now working on a film in which she will play Miley’s mother?? Jennifer Aniston, would you believe?? Apparently Jennifer is hoping to persuade the Hannah Montana star to join the cast of a movie she is developing through her production company Echo Film. The story will revolve around the relationship between a domineering mother and her teenage daughter, an up-and-coming singer. The actress reportedly told a friend: "I approached Miley about it, and she thinks it's a very cool idea." The pair are said to have had several discussions about the project and Aniston is now looking for writers with Cyrus in mind for the role.
